How to make a Dog sock puppet with photo guide
Find an old clean sock.
Gather craft supplies such as felt, old bits of material, wiggly eyes, pens, wool or string, pipe cleaners, craft glue, etc.
Place hand in sock with thumb and fingers working like a mouth and mark where you want the tongue, eyes, nose and ears.
Cut ears, tongue and nose (unless using a pre-made nose) from the felt and/or material and glue in marked areas with fabric glue or craft glue. You can sew them in place if you are an adult making this without children.
For this particular puppet (dog), shown here are two different types of ears.
Glue wiggly eyes in place. However, make eyes with a black permanent marker if puppet is going to be using by small children.
For variations, you can use string/wool for hair, make antlers, horns, or antennas from pipe cleaners depending on what animal/creature you making.
